Webinars

Overview

Our expert addiction consultants provide educational opportunities for prescribers to improve the care and treatment of patients with substance use disorder and pain management. We host live, virtual webinars on relevant topics selected at the request and feedback of MACS callers.

Continuing Education Credit

Many of our live, virtual webinars offer prescribed or elective credit for Continued Medical Education in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the providership of MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society. MedChi is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education.

We also offer Continuing Education Units (CEU) under the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, an authorized sponsor of Continuing Education Units.

Several of our trainings offer Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) credits under the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Visit specific training registration pages for more details.

In addition, many of our live, virtual webinars apply toward the educational training criteria under the MATE Act requirement of eight hours of training in opioid and substance use disorders for all DEA-registered license holders.

CME, CEU and CPE credit and MATE Act training hours are not available for recorded webinars.
